Sapna frames her tiny dancer
"From the time she put this dress on, we were reminded of how our kid, despite making everything harder, can just make everything so much better and more memorable."
What did you frame with us? I framed a picture of my daughter Rumi at the Alhambra in Spain.
What makes this photo special? It turned out that when my daughter projectile puked in the car, this is the only outfit we could find at the Alhambra. It was this or a cheesy Alhambra t-shirt sans pants. She was much happier with this outfit. She was quite the attraction, I lost count of the number of people snapping pictures of her... in fact, there is a small part of me that truly believes she ended up in some Japanese kids' magazine in Tokyo.
From the time we put this outfit on her and saw her twirling with joy, our day dramatically improved - we forgot all about being hungover and jet-lagged, about the post-puke cleaning of the rental car, about the horrible traffic and missing our ticketed time slot, about how incredibly hard it is traveling with a toddler—from the time she put this dress on, we were reminded of how our kid, despite making everything harder, can just make everything so much better and more memorable. It ended up being a fantastic day after all.
